THE BEST-SELLING NOVEL ABOUT A HAUNTED HOUSE… HAS BECOME REAL!
Supernatural horror movies raked in big money at the box office in the 1970s, but this is the worst of those that were hits. The story is nothing we haven’t seen before. A family moves into a house where the former owner shot his family to death; slowly the dark history of the appropriately evil-looking house begins to have an effect on the family. Director Stuart Rosenberg takes an awful amount of time to tell a simple story and doesn’t really know how to scare his audience. The walls may have blood veins but that doesn’t help.
