As FBI agent Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) tries to find the kidnapped Miss USA, she is also saddled with a new partner (Regina King) who hates her guts. This sequel that no one asked for has the gall to run for almost two hours. Along the way, it offers a few smiles but hardly a coherent story. The two leads keep fighting and arguing, but aren’t much fun; William Shatner returns from the first film but he’s got nothing to do, which is a shame. Michael Caine is of course sorely missed.
