After the Sunset

afterthesunsetMaster thieves and lovers Max Burdett (Pierce Brosnan) and Lola Cirillo (Salma Hayek) retire and move to an island paradise, but a dogged FBI agent (Woody Harrelson) is convinced that they’re planning a new heist. Director Brett Ratner’s version of To Catch a Thief (1955) is old-fashioned and comfortable, but not much is going on here, the script is really thin, and the movie ends with a plot twist, predictably enough. Brosnan looks like he’s doing his Remington Steele character again, but Harrelson is more fun as the bitter, easily outwitted agent.
