You can’t cheat death twice.
After having a vision where she dies in a violent highway pileup, Kimberly Corman (A.J. Cook) and a few others narrowly escape death… but then the strange accidents begin. The kids from the first movie have been replaced (except for Ali Larter’s character who’s now in a mental institution) and disaster in the sky is now disaster on the freeway, but the concept is exactly the same as in the first movie. The deaths are comically exaggerated, which is OK, but the story is much too stupid.
2003-U.S. 90 min. Color. Directed by David R. Ellis. Cast: Ali Larter (Clear Rivers), A.J. Cook (Kimberly Corman), Michael Landes (Thomas Burke), T.C. Carson, Jonathan Cherry, Keegan Connor Tracy… Tony Todd.
Trivia: Followed by Final Destination 3 (2006).
