A BRITISH TERRORIST ON U.S. SOIL? NOTHING IS WHAT IT SEEMS.
When a passenger plane explodes in Washington, the suicide bomber turns out to be British; U.K. Ambassador Mark Brydon (Jason Isaacs) learns that there’s more behind the attack. A bombastic BBC miniseries made in the style of 24; no one is to be trusted, the government in particular, and evil, powerful white people will kill anyone who figures out that the Muslim “terrorist” is innocent. A convoluted story that tries to make the work of an embassy look cooler than it is; plenty of surprises along the way make this an exciting thriller. And amusing, with Brits showing the Yanks for once how to deal with international crises.
