THIS IS THE ONE YOU’LL BE DYING FOR…
After escaping from the local morgue, Jason makes his way back to Crystal Lake where he finds new teens to kill – and a young boy (Corey Feldman) who will be his toughest challenge. Final chapter, my ass. No surprises in this film, and the acting is atrocious, but at least the story moves faster than in the previous chapters. Hornier kids this time, which seems to make Jason even more brutal. Amusingly terrible performance by Crispin Glover whose white-boy dance is a highlight.
1984-U.S. 91 min. Color. Directed by Joseph Zito. Cast: Crispin Glover (Jimmy), Kimberly Beck (Trisha Jarvis), Barbara Howard (Sara), E. Erich Anderson, Corey Feldman, Ted White.
Trivia: Make-up effects master Tom Savini allegedly agreed to do this film only so he could take part in killing Jason, the character he once had helped create. Followed by Friday the 13th – A New Beginning (1985).
