THE MAN WHO HAS EVERYTHING HAS EVERYTHING TO HIDE.
Earl Brooks (Kevin Costner) is a successful businessman… and a split-personality serial killer; his latest murders are witnessed by a man (Dane Cook) who blackmails Brooks into letting him take part in one of his killings. Costner always used to play all-American heroes, so watching him as a murderous psycho is odd. He’s more believable as the conservative businessman, but it is still fun to see him argue with the evil alter ego (William Hurt). An original thriller for sure and entertaining enough to make you ignore its faults, one of which is contrivances in the script that make the characters behave stupidly.
