Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

THE SUB-ZERO HEROES ARE BACK, ON AN INCREDIBLE ADVENTURE… FOR THE AGES.

When he finds three huge eggs, Sid’s parental instincts kick in; however, the eggs belong to a dinosaur who comes looking for them – and takes the whole gang to a land of the lost. It takes a while for this third chapter to get started, but once it does both kids and adults will find a good adventure (in 3D) with a few scattered thrills and laughs; the illogical introduction of dinos is even remarked upon by a character. Simon Pegg is a fresh contribution to the cast as a weasel who’s spent too much time on his own, and Scrat the squirrel finds both love and competition for that elusive acorn.

2009-U.S. Animated. 93 min. Color. Directed by Carlos Saldanha. Voices of Ray Romano (Manfred), John Leguizamo (Sid), Denis Leary (Diego), Simon Pegg, Queen Latifah, Seann William Scott… Jane Lynch, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader.
