As the world’s most famous spy celebrates 50 years as a movie star, the time has come to celebrate everything we love about him. In 22 blog posts, I’ll find something in every Bond movie, from Dr. No (1962) to Quantum of Solace (2008), that’s worth illustrating. Yes, even the bad ones.
The ninth Bond movie was the first good one with Roger Moore. The last clip I posted featured James Bond escaping from crocodiles by eh, jumping on them. This one also has a nice trick. You’d think the sight of Christopher Lee showing off a third nipple would be the most memorable part of the film, but that honor goes to this amazing, now-classic stunt where 007 finds a neat way to cross a river with his car – without using a bridge.
