This time, the rules are the same. Except one.
Frank Martin (Jason Statham) is forced into escorting the kidnapped daughter (Natalya Rudakova) of a Ukrainian politician; should anyone of them stray from the path, explosive devices will instantly kill them. The third part of this franchise is hard to separate from the others – which is not to take away the entertainment value of these slick action movies. This time Frank finds a woman who touches his heart, even though she’s played by a complete amateur. That choice hurts the movie, and so does Olivier Megaton’s choppy and clumsy direction of the action scenes.
