Get Him to the Greek

AARON GREEN HAS 72 HOURS TO GET A ROCK STAR FROM LONDON TO L.A. PRAY FOR HIM.

Talent scout Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) is charged with the task of escorting washed-up rock star Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) from London to Los Angeles, where he’s set to perform at the Greek Theatre. This spin-off to Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) focuses on one of that movie’s characters, Brand’s boozy rocker, and makes him the wilder part of an odd couple. Fans of The Hangover (2009) know what to expect. Very thin, with the duo learning predictable life lessons… but the guys are funny and supported by a motley, entertaining cast… and rock tunes that look like they’re straight out of This is Spinal Tap.

2010-U.S. 109 min. Color. Written and directed by Nicholas Stoller. Cast: Jonah Hill (Aaron Green), Russell Brand (Aldous Snow), Rose Byrne (Jackie Q), Elisabeth Moss, Sean Combs, Colm Meaney. Cameos: Lars Ulrich, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Kristen Bell, Ricky Schroder, Pharrell, Paul Krugman.

Trivia: As in the first film, Bell plays Sarah Marshall.
