HER STORY BEGINS WHERE HER LIFE ENDS.
A murder mystery that came in the shape of this miniseries and a mobile app featuring the same footage but allowing viewers to choose perspective. Innovative, but what matters for this review is the presentation of the miniseries. The story follows two timelines; the relationships between a successful children’s author (Sharon Stone) and two different men (Garrett Hedlund, Frederick Weller) in her life, and the attempt four years later to find out who murdered her. Initially hard to find intriguing, in spite of a good cast and a cold but elegant setting, but improves after a while even though it remains convoluted. Devin Ratray is the standout as a very likable cop.
